Hi there – we have links to several downloads at https://psychhealthandsafety.org/asw/ and these downloads are on an AWS S3 bucket served by CloudFront.

People are able to download the files and bypass the web site entirely of course by using or sharing the direct links themselves  ex: https://d3mh72llnfrpe6.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/09210508/asw-chinese-simplified.pdf .

We don’t want to charge for this content, and we don’t want to simply block access to people who haven’t been to the site, but we would rather people access the material through the site links.

So what I’d like to have happen is this:
1. if they use a download link that DOES NOT come from the site, they get sent to the appropriate page on the site so they can download from there (ex. https://d3mh72llnfrpe6.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/09210508/asw-chinese-simplified.pdf would redirect to https://psychhealthandsafety.org/asw/)
2. if they DO come from the web site they can download no problem

i.e. logically: "are they coming from the website? NO: send to appropriate page on website, YES: download."

I’d like to pay someone hourly with expertise in this area to help me figure this out.

(Note: creating new links won’t work as then people will just share the new links)
(Note: links to the WordPress media are created using the "WP Offload Media Lite" plugin.)

Cheers for now! Adam
