‘Duplicate, submitted URL not selected as canonical’. Need My Articles To Be Recrawled ASAP – Upwork

Hi, I have 3 articles that were incorrectly indexed as ‘Duplicates, submitted URL not selected as canonical’ when they had no content on Feb 28th.

I added the relevant content to each page and now i’m having real difficulty getting them recrawled and indexed by Google as standalone pages.

I pinged the post-sitemap to Google as it was not recrawling the sitemap and it looks like it then crawled all 22 articles in the post sitemap but still did not recrawl these pages. Traffic has also come to the pages from FB ads but Google still won’t recrawl so it seems like they are being ignored due to being seen as duplicates previously.

Task Overview
1. Outline safe options to get the pages recrawled and indexed as soon as possible.
2. Implement our chosen option and successfully get the pages indexed. I will provide an additional $50 bonus if you can get them indexed by the end of Tuesday March 15th 2022.

To show your credentials, please outline reasons why Google won’t recrawl the page currently and confirm if you have solutions that can solve this indexing problem quickly. Any general response where you talk about SEO skills or marketing / backlinking will be ignored. Stick to the request asked and hopefully, we can start a good working relationship!

Best wishes,

Alec
