My company Let’s Eat, Grandma urgently needs some load speed improvements done on our website (letseatgrandma.com). It’s built in WordPress with the Divi Builder and Woocommerce. Our Google PageSpeed is currently ranking in the 40’s for Desktop and around 13 for Mobile. Yikes!
We anticipate the following tasks but would be open to whatever other improvements you suggest.
—Optimizing CSS files and scripts
—Configuring a partial cache for templates
—Implementing Cloudflare or another CDN
—Possibly configuring an image compression plugin and/or W3 Total Cache (we currently use Jetpack which apparently has lazy loading and image compression, but are open to changing this)
We carry a good amount of plugins, but many are crucial to our business, so we would need you to be flexible and understanding with certain plugins that we cannot disable (at least for the time being).
Work would be done in our staging site, and communication would generally need to happen between 9 am and 6 pm Central Time.
We currently have a budget of $800 for this project between now and the end of March.
