Our company is looking to hire a WordPress designer/manager for specific, straightforward and occasional tasks/projects.
Our website is build with WordPress & Divi builder. We are a small company/start up and the website is quite simple. We need someone to take on those tasks because we don’t have the time to do everything ourselves. We need someone who’s willing to accomplish small tasks but also to bring added value and suggestions (we are a team of legal and have no background in design/marketing so we appreciate any feedback and innovation).
The person will need to:
– implement the recommendations made by our external marketing agents
– fix design issues and bugs
– make small and occasional updates on the already-existing website
– build new pages, landing pages or blogposts
– search for and/or build new visual content for the website (add icons, generic images, make sure existing images are the same size, etc)
– review some existing pages for better design
– assist in enhancing customer journey on website
– clean old useless pages or elements on website
– optimize website for mobile use
Projects that are already on our to do list (a few examples):
– Rebuild our "assessment test" (using another plugin or just customizing existing one)
– Add testimonials from clients and partners to the website
– rebuild pricing page (incl. building new pricing table)
– Customize and update website menu
If the relationship works, there is a possibility to work on a bigger rebranding of the website later on.
Skills
– WordPress & divi are required
– English native or equivalent (very good spelling)
– Eye for aesthetic and design
– Attention to details
– Knowledge of wordpress plugins
– Can easily adapt to existing design and practices
– Brings suggestions on website strategy and overall design
– Works in collaboration with external marketing agents and internal management team
Hourly Range: $5.00-$40.00
