Personal Tasks
– Research the best flight options and book a flight from Toronto to NYC
– Research and find the best place to rent a car in NYC, including calling the call rental place to ensure the car is available
– Research how to open a bank account in the US, and set an appointment
– You will have access to my google calendar and I will ask you to schedule events in for me
– Help me plan a dinner with my friends in a certain neighborhood, and call in to make a reservation
Business Tasks
– Use the WordPress platform to edit my blog www.ryaning.com
– Upload images to all of my blog posts that are missing photos
Advanced Tasks (Willing to offer more and will value candidates that can do this)
– Ghostwrite and publish blog posts for me on WordPress. E.g. I will talk to you on zoom for 30 minutes about a blog idea, you record the zoom call so that you can listen to it if you missed anything. You draft a blog post structure and bring it to me for feedback. I provide feedback and you write the post
Requirements
– Must be fluent in english
– Must be located in Western Hemisphere (I am in New York timezone, I don’t want someone more than 3 hours away as sometimes I need to work with you real time. We will work on zoom together to complete tasks from time to time)
– Must have experience as a VA – reason why is because this is the first time I am hiring one, so I need one who can give me examples of how they have helped other clients
Technical Skills
– Google suite (gmail, google calendar, google docs, google sheets)
– WordPress
– Zoom
– Vidyard / Loom or any other screen recording software
Will start with 1 hour/day and increase as we find more things we can work on together. This is my first time hiring a VA but I expect as I continue to grow in my career I will continue to become more reliant on working with one.
Hourly Range: $5.00-$10.00
