I have 2 pages in English, which is a homepage and a landing page. I also recently translated those 2 pages into 11 different languages, so now I have 18 additional pages in different languages.
Now, the problem is, Google takes forever (waited 1.5 week+) to index my newly translated pages.
So, I want to tell google more specifically that these 22 pages are translated version of the homepage and the landing page.
One way to tell to Google is indicating that in my sitemap. I need to add 1) hreflang tag 2) link rel="alternate" of other localized pages.
Specifically, Google saids "Each url element must have a child element //xhtml:link rel="alternate" hreflang="supported_language-code"// that lists every alternate version of the page, including itself. The order of these child //xhtml:link// elements doesn’t matter, though you might want to keep them in the same order to make them easier for you to check for mistakes."
So, I’m looking for someone who is going to implement this for my 22 translated pages and create a new sitemap. for my website.
i’ve prepared 1) an excel file showing the languages used and URL of the translated pages 2) my WordPress credential for you to edit.
