Clean Up Coding Errors on New WP Website Affecting Our SEO – Upwork

We have recently had a new website built using WP Elementor.

Unfortunately the developer posted the new design under our domain without including the www. He has now forwarded the non www domain to the www via htaccess. Our content creators were adding lots of content without realising they were posting it under the wrong URL.

This has created duplicate content that needs sorting.

This has created a major redirecting issue in that there are too many redirects you can view here

There are urls appearing that we have no idea where they are or how to find them. We are not sure how to deal with them from an SEO point view.

We have seen our ranking drop from having 100s of first place rankings to almost zero since the new site launched less than 2 months ago.

Every audit we have used say the same thing:
too many redirects.
chain link redirects
HTML code to content ratio is too high.
slow loading pages,

We need some who knows how to clean up this mess in the best way without adding to an already confusing situation.

We are looking for someone with technical SEO experience combined with coding knowhow rather than pure web development …unless you know otherwise.

We have not set a budget as we would like to understand our options as to how to clean this up. Once we know our options we will be better placed to work a partner and budget accordingly.
